Environmental Policy

All activities based at Junckers' headquarters in K¯ge must be completed in accordance with a resident environmental management system, which was designed to protect the local environment and to ensure the continuing improvements thereof. Through information and education, Junckers strives to motivate their employees to act in accordance with the Company's environmental policy.

As a minimum compliance, Junckers observes the conditions imposed by relevant regulatory authorities and constantly endeavors to minimize any inconveniences that their production may inflict upon their neighbors. Additionally, Junckers has adopted the philosophy of maintaining an open attitude to information about environmental aspects in their relations with employees, authorities, neighbors, customers, suppliers and other partners.

Juncker's strives to continually decrease environmental impact through the refinement of their production processes, products and other environmental measures.

• Wherever possible, Juncker's products are to be classed as products having the least possible environmental impact in their relevant categories.
• Wherever possible, the cleanest technologies are to be used in the production processes.
• Junckers shall comply with all approved methods to assess which kind of products and technologies are best for the environment.
• The production processes are to make optimum use of energy.
• Wherever possible, the energy must be CO2 neutral; i.e. produced by Junckers' own power station based on combustion of waste products from the production processes.
